Right Toy Right Dog came about from the endless search for dog toys which were a bit different.

We'd go to shows and events and see pretty much the same thing and so we began looking a bit further afield and started to look at what dogs in other countries were playing with.

Lynda Taylor, the business owner is a lecturer at degree level in both canine and animal behaviour and training, has competed in agility, flyball, working trials and obedience and she knew that to get the focus and build the relationship between dog and owner there needed to be a "want".

The "want" comes from something better than the other dogs in the park, better than chewing the sofa and better than running after rabbits on the horizon. The toys we stock develop that "want". But no one dog is the same and we know that some like to chase, some to play tug, some are motivated by fur toiys and other by the presence of food and that, is when Right Toy Right Dog came into being.
